Product Description: The key difference between single-layer and double-layer sandals is the extra layer in the double-layer model, which raises the heel by 5/16th of an inch. This can benefit those with high arches or who wear insoles.
If you find yourself between sizes, we suggest sizing down. For numbered sizes, if you're a half-size, we recommend sizing down as well.
To break in your sandals, customers have found that wedging a tennis ball or water bottle under the straps overnight can help them stretch. Wearing socks will also protect your skin as the straps mold to your feet. Start with 5 minutes and gradually increase the wear time, allowing your feet to adjust.
For cleaning, some customers have had success wiping down their sandals with a damp cloth and mild soap. However, please note that the Rainbow Sandals Agreement does not cover water damage or delamination caused by cleaning.
If your leather sandals get wet, make sure they dry completely out of direct sunlight to prevent the leather from becoming brittle and cracking. You may find them curling up after drying in direct sunlight or extreme heat, but with continued use, they should flatten out and return to normal.
